UK Archival Thesaurus Project: Workshop on Thesauri and Subject Indexing in Archives

4 December 2003, University of London Computer Centre

This free workshop will provide an overview of developments in the UK Archival Thesaurus (UKAT) project. As background to UKAT, the workshop will also look at issues surrounding the recent use of thesauri by archives and archive projects. Participants will be encouraged to bring examples of subject indexing problems and issues so that these can be discussed with the UKAT team.

Attendance is free and is open to archivists and users of archives. Places are limited to 40, so no more than one attendee can be permitted per office/organisation. To book a place, please contact UKAT.
